A discussion on the instructions given by God, to the prophets, or messengers, of loving your neighbour. The discussion reflects upon the various tribes and the messages passed to each tribe. And Gershom has stated that he is not coming from any political, or religious standpoint. This is because it is not always helpful to complicate the message of the concept of loving your neighbour.
Gershom stated that he lives by the will of God because he is from the line of Levi. He is not perfect, and he is just a man (and perhaps a messenger). And he was born in Galilee in Israel. He believes he is the reincarnation of Gershom the biblical figure. The first son of Moses, and Zipporah, daughter of Joshua. He says that he loves God our Father, and agrees we have the same creator, who is known by many names by the various tribes. Allah, Jah, God, and many more.
Sam makes the point that if you live by God and love God, you will follow his instructions left by the prophets. Whether that is the 10 commandments, or in his detailed example, the instructions to the Prophet Mohammed, you must believe in the prophets from such a time, up until Prophet Mohammed. And that he believes he was the last prophet, and there are no others after him. And follow all of the instructions that are in the scriptures. Which includes fasting and following all the instructions left by The Prophet Mohammed, as well as the prophets before him, as stated in the Qu’ran.
Gershoms’ response is that each tribe was given their own set of instructions or messages to live by, by their own messengers. And that he will not be fasting, or praying five times a day. For he already is close to God. His claim is that he has seen God, while he was sitting by the Mediterranean Sea.
Daud made the point that if you love your neighbour, you will listen to them, discuss with them, and you would cover all of the points raised by your neighbours. Gershom’s response to this is that due to the fact we have our own messengers, it is not very relevant for him to fast, or to follow all the instructions of the Prophet Mohammed. And that things can become complicated or heated. As we have a slightly different view or translation. Gershom says he believes in the Prophet Mohammed and knows of other prophets. And his view seems to be, that the messages are open to our own interpretation, and that we choose the way we live our lives, we remember God and put God and his will first, and then ourselves, and then our neighbours. It is a realistic view. He is inspired by God in his own naturalistic way. Or as some may say he is divinely inspired.
He believes that it is his job, or duty to spread the message of love that will be understood, felt and appreciated by everyone. It is a message of peace, love & harmony. He unquestionably accepts the many versions and translations, the many tribes and the many prophets, aside from his own. And embraces all religions, and people, aside from his own. He is not a very religious man but tries to be a good man. This is a very honest and modernistic view. He is a practical and sincere man, who loves his people, and others.
Gershom says he follows the words of God Love God, Love Yourself, & Love Your Neighbour As You Love Yourself. He follows his own divine inspiration, and moral conscience when he is living his everyday life, and dealing with others. He tries to be the best that he can be, and love his neighbours. He is known by many people and is a pillar in the community, for spreading the message of LOVE, which he lives by daily.
